As the president of CareProfiler, Dr. Johansson serves as a strategic partner and consultant to several health and human service organizations nationwide. He oversees, advises, and/or delivers each of our executive assessment and consulting projects. Additionally, Dr. Johansson adds over 25 years of industry and psychological expertise to our product development and training content.
Dr. Johansson is the co-founder of The Friendship Home Community (TFHC), a residential care facility for seniors and a long-term strategic partner company to CareProfiler.
Prior to his work at TFHC and CareProfiler, Dr. Johansson worked for over 20 years as an organizational consultant, working both independently and for Personnel Decisions International (PDI). Dr. Johansson has worked with organizations such as Honeywell, Unisys, Texas Instruments, and CHS.
Early in his career, Dr. Johansson was the Counseling Director for two local community medical clinics. Dr. Johansson brings a unique perspective to the value of growing older in our society. With focus on the psychological phenomena of aging in current society, Dr. Johansson has led seminars, taught classes, and presented forums on the psycho-spiritual aspects of health and healing.
Dr. Johansson received his Bachelor’s degree from Seattle University and his Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He has extensive experience in counseling, clinical, and organizational psychology.
