The Twin Cities Psychology Internship Consortium* is an APPIC-Approved pre-Doctoral psychology internship. The TCPIC accepts PhD and PsyD students. The TCPIC is currently in the process of obtaining APA-Accreditation, but is not currently accredited by the APA.
The TCPIC is comprised of multiple organizations engaged in the professional practice of psychology. For 2017-2018, the TCPIC has the following member organizations:

Amundson & Associates - Mental Health | The Friendship Home Community - Geriatric Mental Health
Life Medical - Community Mental Health/Immigrant Populations
TCPIC sites are located throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. They serve a diverse client base and offers a variety of services. TCPIC offers pre-doctoral interns the training opportunities in the following:
1) Individual/couples therapy | 2) psychological assessment and diagnosis | 3) professional and organizational consultation
4) conducting community psychoeducation workshops | 5) applied research: outcome measures and diagnostic assessment
Interns are expected to work full time throughout the internship year in at least three of these five training areas. Time off for dissertation completion and/or additional research is allotted to the student on a weekly basis. Individual and group supervision is provided by the training director and the intern’s direct supervisor.
This internship is ideally suited to prepare students for careers in community mental health, private practice, and organizational/vocational settings.
