WSQ Workforce Analysis
Identify root causes of why your people stay and why they leave.
Our Workforce Analysis is an in-depth analysis on the person-job and person-manager fit of your existing employees. The Workforce Analysis can be used annually to identify the root causes for retention and turnover.
The Workforce Analysis examines two critical psychological factors that impact tenure: Person-Job Fit and Person-Manager Fit (Landy, 2001). These two factors are related, dynamic, and moderated by the specific work environment, position, and pay (Landy, 2001; Zacher, Chan, Bakker, & Demerouti, 2015). Person-Job Fit and Person-Manager Fit are part of what drives an employee’s decision to remain on the job, engage in counter-productive work behaviors, or resign. Below is a model for understanding the complex, multi-faceted antecedents of turnover, retention, and termination.

Section one of the analysis is focused on the Person-Job fit as calculated by the Screening Index on WorkStyles Questionnaire (WSQ). The Screening Index accounts for approximately 50% of Person-Job fit, with the remaining 50% being a combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities as they relate to the duties of the job.
Examining the relationship between scores on CareProfiler’s WorkStyles Questionnaire and days on the job can help determine the predictive validity of Person-Job Fit.
Section two of the analysis is focused on the Person-Manager fit calculated by 1) personality correspondence between employee and the community’s active managers, 2) employee's DayOne Index, and 3) difference between potential and reality as calculated by the difference between Screening Index and DayOne Index.
